Gianluca Lullo, Owner
We stayed in this apartment for 2 days. We are happy. The room is light, it has a large wardrobe and small hidden kitchen. We used it for breakfast. Gianluca is a good host. He helped us lift out baggage to the room. Also he gave the map, said about popular places in Veniuce and showed interesting touristic way on the map. This information was good for us. We wrote Gianluca in WhatsApp when we had questions. It was convenient because we didn't have Italian sim-card. Near home there is a supermarket.Philippe Crowlord
The owner's daughter met us at the bus station and led us to the apartment. Whilst this is very helpful, you end up carrying luggage up the steps of 5 or 6 bridges. A much easier way is to catch the water bus 4.2 or 5.2 from behind the S.Lucia train station, and get off at S. Basilio. With Google maps, it's then an easy 5 minute walk to the apartment. You'd still have to organise a meet-up, to get the key. The apartment was lovely. Spacious, and very comfortable. The area is nice to wander around. Whilst it's not super close to places like San Marco piazza, it's not a long walk (maybe 15 minutes) and venice IS the city to walk and get lost in! :) I definitely recommend staying here.Carol Windley
